
Brent Blevins
Dr. Brent Belvins is a managing director and co-head of the Missouri public finance business at Piper Sandler. He started his career in public finance in 2017 at George K. Baum & Company where he worked until its Stifel acquisition in 2019, serving as a managing director. Prior to his career in public finance, Dr. Blevins was a school superintendent, deputy superintendent and teacher for 21 years. Dr. Belvins served the role as assistant superintendent and superintendent at the Forsyth School District for seven years and deputy superintendent and acting superintendent in the Lee’s Summit School District for three years until his retirement from public education in 2017. He is in his 29th year serving public schools in Missouri.
Dr. Blevins received his undergraduate degree from College of the Ozarks and his Doctor of Education Administration degree from Lindenwood University. Dr. Blevins is located in the Springfield, Missouri area and is available for in-person meetings at the district and to present to the board of education to explain the plan of finance, progress of the transaction and the various documents to be adopted by the district.
