Thomas O'Kane

Thomas O’Kane is the co-head of global equities at Piper Sandler. In this role, oversees the firm's equity sales & trading organization and serves as a member of the equities operating committee.

Previously, O'Kane served as the global head of equity sales & trading and prior to that, he was part of the institutional equity sales group and served as head of the New York region. From 1991-2006, O’Kane was a financial advisor in Piper Sandler's private client group and prior to that, he worked on the firm's municipal bond desk.

O’Kane graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas.
